So pointlessly random it hurts
Stiles had taken to typing with two fingers and he finished up the final sentence of his essay before hitting the keys for the print shortcut with flourish. The sound of his printer coming to life as it received its orders prompted him to raise his hands in triumph.
From behind him, the window slid open and Stiles turned in his chair, arms still up, in order to face his guest.
His hands fell in a dismissive gesture as he saw it was only Derek.
“Get out of here you windows-user.” He snorted as Derek paused, angling his chair so he could lean against his desk. “Nah, I’m just kidding. ‘Cause get it? I use a Mac and that’s a window and you’re always using…” Stiles trailed off as Derek’s stare went from confused to unamused to slightly annoyed the more he kept talking. “Never mind!” He turned to grab his papers. “So what do you need from me tonight, oh fearless leader?”
Stiles knew his easy compliance would throw Derek off some. But that was alright because he had finished his homework.
THE END.
